What if life-saving healthcare could reach everyone, regardless of where they live or the equipment available at their nearest hospital?

That simple question sparked the journey of Vessel Vision.

Founded with the mission of making healthcare more accessible through Artificial Intelligence, Vessel Vision is building intelligent medical technologies that empower healthcare professionals to make faster, more accurate decisions while reducing the barriers created by expensive infrastructure.

The Beginning

Vessel Vision started as an idea during our undergraduate journey. We observed that many healthcare facilities, especially in rural and underserved regions, still rely on conventional medical imaging systems that lack AI assistance and modern digital capabilities.

Rather than replacing existing infrastructure, we envisioned technology that could work alongside it—bringing AI-powered diagnostics to hospitals and clinics without requiring costly upgrades.

What began as research and brainstorming soon evolved into a startup with a clear purpose: making advanced healthcare technology affordable, scalable, and accessible.

Building the Foundation

Turning an idea into reality was far from easy.

Developing reliable AI models required thousands of medical images, months of experimentation, and continuous refinement. Every stage—from data preparation and model training to validation and software development—presented new technical and operational challenges.

At the same time, we focused on building a strong business foundation by incorporating Vessel Vision Private Limited, obtaining DPIIT Startup Recognition, and creating a roadmap for commercial deployment.

Support That Made a Difference

A significant milestone in our journey was receiving incubation support from both the Central University of Jammu (CUJ) Incubation Centre and the IIM Jammu – Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Skill Development (IIMJ-FEISD).

Our journey began at the Central University of Jammu Incubation Centre, where the initial idea behind Vessel Vision was nurtured. The incubation ecosystem encouraged innovation, provided early-stage guidance, and helped us transform a research-driven concept into a structured startup with a clear technological vision.

As we progressed, our incubation at IIM Jammu FEISD accelerated our growth by providing strategic mentorship, business development support, networking opportunities, and access to an entrepreneurial ecosystem. The guidance from experienced mentors helped us refine our business model, strengthen our product strategy, improve investor readiness, and prepare for commercial deployment.

The combined support of both institutions has played a vital role in shaping Vessel Vision from an early-stage idea into a technology startup focused on delivering AI-powered healthcare solutions with real-world impact. Their mentorship and encouragement continue to inspire us as we work toward making advanced healthcare technologies more accessible and affordable.
